Roll Bonded Liquid Cold Plates For Cooling Electronics
Roll Bonded liquid cold plates are generally made of two spaced thin sheets, (laser) welded to each other. The space between the plates is pressurized to deform one or both plates in order to provide a space in which a cooling medium can circulate.
Once the two thin sheets are laser welded together - (by welding a custom circle pattern) - spot welds are then created to form channels. Additional welding paths are often added to allow adjustments and to control direction and velocity which optimizes the cold plate.
They are a highly versatile which allows them to be welded, formed, or fitted for your application. It can be applied in irregular shapes, at high pressures, high temperatures, or in corrosive environments. Eliminating any machining process make this dimple, effective and and greatly lowering manufacturing costs.
The plate is created by fully automatic laser welding and forming process. Its unique pillow structure makes fluid into optimum turbulence state to achieve highly efficient heat exchange. It also boasts various advantages such as dust proof, high temperature and high-pressure resistance and easy cleaning.
