This CTP liquid cooling battery tray merges structural support and liquid cold plate cooling into one aluminum component. By letting cells mount directly to the pack, it reduces part count and weight for energy storage systems while keeping thermal performance under tight control.
- Combines structural support and liquid cooling in a single aluminum part
- Designed for CTP (cell to pack) assembly to cut components and weight
- 6005A structural aluminum frame with integrated coolant channel
- 100% helium leak tested and 4.0 MPa burst verified
- Supports 280Ah and 314Ah prismatic cells

What is CTP and why use a CTP tray?
CTP means cell to pack: the cells mount directly onto the tray instead of into separate modules. This removes module housings and fasteners, cutting weight, cost and assembly steps, while the tray itself acts as the pack structure.
Can one part really carry structural load and cooling?
Yes. The tray is made from 6005A structural aluminum and the liquid cooling channel is integrated into the load-bearing frame, so a single part carries the structural load and cools the cells.
Does it support different cell sizes?
Yes. It supports 280Ah and 314Ah LiFePO4 prismatic cells, with adjustable cell spacing so you can use different cell sizes on the same platform.
How do you verify structural and cooling performance?
We validate the design with FEA structural analysis and CFD flow and thermal simulation, then confirm the finished part with burst pressure testing, 100% helium leak testing and dimensional inspection.
Can you co-design with our engineers?
Yes. Our engineers work directly from your CAD data and can co-develop an optimized CTP tray with your team, from concept and simulation through to tooling and production.
